Removal Procedure

Remove the manual transmission from the vehicle. Manual Transmission Removal and Installation

Install the EN-50792 Flywheel Holding Tool.

NOTE:
- If reusing the pressure plate assembly, place an alignment mark on the pressure plate and flywheel for proper alignment during installation.
- DO NOT use air tools to remove the clutch pressure plate bolts
Loosen the clutch pressure plate bolts using the following sequence:
1. Loosen bolts 1 and 2 one full turn, then stop.
2. Loosen bolts 3 and 4 one full turn, then stop.
3. Loosen bolts 5 and 6 one full turn, then stop.
4. Repeat Steps 4.1 through 4.3 until all bolts are loose.

Remove the clutch pressure plate (2) from the dowel pins on the flywheel.
Remove the driven disc (3).
