Removal Procedure

    Remove the clutch actuator cylinder pipe retaining clip (1) from the clutch master cylinder pipe.

  2. Remove and DISCARD the zip ties (2) that hold the clutch master cylinder pipe (3) in place.
  3. Install a cap or plug to the exposed hose and clutch master cylinder fittings in order to prevent fluid loss and contamination.
  4. Disconnect the clutch actuator cylinder pipe (3) from the clutch master cylinder pipe.
  5. Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle

  7. Remove the clutch actuator cylinder pipe retaining clip (1) from the transmission.
  8. CAUTION:

    Care must be taken when disassembling the clutch actuator cylinder hose connector from the clutch actuator cylinder. Do not remove, misposition, or damage the internal restrictor valve/Peak Torque Limiter (PTL). Operating a vehicle with a removed, mispositioned, or damaged PTL valve could result in severe driveline damage.

  9. Disconnect the clutch actuator cylinder pipe (3) from the transmission. Plug the lower hose end.
  10. Remove the clutch actuator cylinder pipe (3).

    Remove the clutch actuator cylinder bolts (1).

  3. Remove the clutch actuator cylinder (2) from the manual transmission.
