Installation Procedure

- CAUTION:
Phenolic spacer must be present to prevent galvanic/corrosive reaction and/or excessive temperature conduction between engine mount bracket and engine mount. Replace mount if phenolic spacer is missing or damaged. Failure to ensure phenolic spacer is intact and not damaged can lead to premature failure of engine mount and/or engine mount bracket.
Ensure the phenolic spacer (2) remains in place.
- Engine Mount (1) - Install
- Lower the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
- Electrical Connector @ Engine Mount - Right Side - Connect
- Use the EN-51007 Global Engine Support Fixture to lower the right side of the engine onto the engine mount.
- CAUTION:
Refer to Fastener Caution .
CAUTION:Refer to Torque-to-Yield Fastener Caution .
Engine Mount Bolt (2) - Install NEW and tighten [2x]
- First Pass: 58 N.m (43 lb ft)
- Final Pass: 60-75 degrees
- Engine Mount Nut (1) - Install and tighten to 70 N.m (52 lb ft)
- Engine Support Fixture - Remove - Engine Support Fixture
