Removal Procedure

- Disconnect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
- Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
- Exhaust Manifold-Right Side - Remove - Exhaust Manifold Replacement - Right Side (LT4)
Starter Heat Shield Bolt (1) - Remove [3x]
- Starter Heat Shield (2) - Remove
Battery Positive Cable Nut (2) - Remove
- Battery Positive Cable (3) - Remove
- Electrical Connector (1) - Remove
Starter Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]
- Remove the starter. (2)
