Removal Procedure

- Disconnect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
Radiator Inlet Hose Clip (2) @Radiator Inlet Hose Bracket - Disengage
- Oil Level Indicator Tube - Remove - Oil Level Indicator Tube Replacement
- Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
- Automatic Transmission Fluid Cooling Exchanger - Remove - Automatic Transmission Fluid Cooling Exchanger Replacement (LSY, without V03) , or Automatic Transmission Fluid Cooling Exchanger Replacement (LSY, RWD, with V03)
Battery Negative Cable Nut (2) - Remove
- Auxiliary Generator Battery Jumper Cable (1) - Remove
- Retainer (3) - Disengage
Battery Positive Cable Nut (1) @Starter Solenoid - Remove
- Auxiliary Generator Battery Jumper Cable (2) - Remove
- Electrical Connector (4) - Disconnect
Starter Stud (1) - Remove
- Starter Bolt (2) - Remove [2x]
- Starter (3) - Remove
