Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection

    Fuse Block Cover (1) - Remove

  3. Auxiliary Generator Battery Jumper Cable Nut (2) - Remove
  4. Battery Positive Cable Nut (3) - Remove
  5. Battery Negative Cable Ground Bolt (4) - Remove
  6. Retainer (5) - Disengage [3x]
  7. Auxiliary Generator Battery Jumper Cable (6) - Reposition away

    Retainer (1) - Disengage [3x]

    Battery Positive Cable Nut (2) @Generator - Remove

  10. Auxiliary Generator Battery Jumper Cable (1) - Remove

    Battery Positive Cable Nut (1) @Starter Solenoid - Remove

  12. Auxiliary Generator Battery Jumper Cable (2) - Remove
  13. Retainer (3) - Disengage
  14. Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle

    Battery Negative Cable Ground Nut (2) @Starter Stud (3) - Remove

  16. Auxiliary Generator Battery Jumper Cable (1) - Remove
  17. Lower the vehicle.
