Preliminary Procedure Remove the rear side door latch. Rear Side Door Latch Replacement
1	Rear Side Door Inside Handle Cable Procedure Using the appropriate tool, release the retaining tab from the back side of the rear side door inside handle cable. Remove the cable from the rear side door latch release lever. Ensure the rear side door inside handle cable retaining tab is fully seated before installing the latch.

Procedure

Using the appropriate tool, release the retaining tab from the back side of the rear side door inside handle cable.
Remove the cable from the rear side door latch release lever.
Ensure the rear side door inside handle cable retaining tab is fully seated before installing the latch.
