Removal Procedure

    Front Side Door Inside Handle Bolt Finish Cap (1) - Remove

    Front Side Door Pull Cup Liner (1) - Remove

  4. Front Side Door Armrest Pull Cup Bolt (2) - Remove [2x]

    NOTE:

    The front side door trim has an integral front side door trim assembly belt bracket that hooks over the front side door window inner sealing strip assembly and the front side door window garnish molding.

    Using an appropriate tool, start from the rear bottom corner and pull the front side door trim (3) from the sheet metal towards you to disengage perimeter retainers (2).

  6. When the front side door trim (3) is sufficiently loosened, place an appropriate tool at the rear portion of the door trim to disengage the remaining retainers (2) and clip (1).
  7. Unhook the front side door trim (3) from the belt line, pulling the door trim upwards using both hands.
  8. Remove lock knob and rod and make sure the lock rod is in the locking rod clip, if it pivots it will damage the latch.
  9. Disconnect the door lock retainer cable from the front side door trim (3) and the inside handle.
  10. Disconnect the electrical connector.
  11. Front Side Door Trim (3) - Remove
  12. Place the front side door trim (3) on a clean flat surface.
