    NOTE:

General surface contaminants such as dirt, dust, fingerprints, moisture, oil, etc., can be removed with a dry cleaning cloth from 3M (Scotch Brite High Performance Cloth), or Contec (Thunderbolt Cloth).

The painted surface must be clean and dry before installation of a new rear end spoiler.

  2. NOTE:
    • Urethane to be DOW K1, DOW U400HV, or equivalent that meets performance per GMW3041. Please check the expiration date prior to starting installation of spoiler.
    • Urethane must be applied only to inner ridge near the tape to avoid "squish-out" past the spoiler onto the exposed rear compartment lid.
  3. Apply a 6mm diameter bead of urethane (2) to the inner ridge (1) near the tape (3) according to the dimensions on the inner ridge side of the spoiler.
