Installation Procedure

    Place a suitable adjustable jack under the fuel tank.

  2. Fuel Tank (1) - Install

    Fuel Tank Strap (3) - Install [2x]

  4. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  5. Fuel Tank Strap Bolt (2) - Install and tighten [3x] 22 N.m (16 lb ft)
  6. Fuel Tank Strap Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] 27 N.m (20 lb ft)
  7. Remove the suitable adjustable jack.

    Fuel Tank Vent Hose (5) - Connect - Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service 

  9. Fuel Tank Filler Evaporative Emission Valve Hose (4) - Connect - Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service 
  10. Evaporative Emission Canister Purge Hose (3) - Connect - Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service 
  11. Fuel Tank Filler Hose (2) - Install
  12. NOTE:

    Refer to the procedure link for torque specification.

  13. Fuel Tank Filler Hose Clamp (1) - Tighten - Fuel Tank Filler Hose Replacement

    Fuel Pump Fuel Feed Hose (2) - Connect - Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service 

  15. Fuel Tank Vent Valve Hose (1) - Connect - Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service

    Retainer (2) - Install [4x]

  17. Wiring Harness Connector (1) - Connect [2x]
  18. Propeller Shaft - Install - Propeller Shaft Replacement (without LT4)Propeller Shaft Replacement (with LT4, MJK)Propeller Shaft Replacement (with LT4, MHX)Propeller Shaft Replacement (AWD)
  19. Lower the vehicle.
  20. Refill the fuel tank.
  21. Inspect for fuel leaks.
