Removal Procedure

- Relieve the fuel system pressure. Fuel Pressure Relief
Intake Manifold (2) - Remove - Intake Manifold Replacement
Cable Tie (2) @Fuel Injection Fuel Rail Fuel Pressure Sensor - Remove and DISCARD
- Electrical Connector (3) @Fuel Injection Fuel Rail Fuel Pressure Sensor - Disconnect
- Fuel Injection Fuel Rail Fuel Pressure Sensor (1) - Remove
WARNING:
Fuel/gasoline vapors are highly flammable. A fire could occur if an ignition source is present. Never drain or store gasoline or diesel fuel in an open container, due to the possibility of fire or explosion. Have a dry chemical (Class B) fire extinguisher nearby.
WARNING:
Wear safety glasses in order to avoid eye damage.
NOTE:
DO NOT apply force to the plastic housing of the sensor. To loosen, apply force only to the attached hexagon on the sensor.
