Installation Procedure

Radiator Surge Tank (2) - Move into position
- Radiator Surge Tank Clip (3) @Front Wheelhouse Panel - Install
- Radiator Surge Tank (2) - Install
- Radiator Surge Tank Nut (1) - Install and tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)
Heater Outlet Hose (4) @Radiator Surge Tank - Install
- Heater Outlet Hose Clamp (3) - Engage - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type
- Radiator Surge Tank Inlet Hose (2) @Radiator Surge Tank - Install
- Radiator Surge Tank Inlet Hose Clamp (1) - Engage - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type
- Front End Sheet Metal Cross Brace- Right Side - Install - Front End Sheet Metal Cross Brace Replacement (Impact Bar Bracket) , or Front End Sheet Metal Cross Brace Replacement (Plenum without Blackwing) , or Front End Sheet Metal Cross Brace Replacement (Plenum with Blackwing)
- Plenum Front Panel - Install - Plenum Front Panel Replacement (without Blackwing) , or Plenum Front Panel Replacement (with Blackwing)
- Fill the cooling system to the proper level. Cooling System Draining and Filling (LT4 Static Fill) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (LT4 GE 47716)
- Start the engine and check for coolant leaks.
