Removal Procedure

  1. Drain the charge air cooling system. Charge Air Cooling System Draining and Filling (LGY)

    Front Compartment Front Sight Shield Retainer (1) - Remove [13x]

  3. Front Compartment Front Sight Shield (2) - Remove

    Front Bumper Fascia (1) - Remove - Front Bumper Fascia Replacement (without Blackwing) , or Front Bumper Fascia Replacement (with Blackwing)

    Radiator Air Lower Baffle Retainer (1) - Remove [6x]

  6. Radiator Air Lower Baffle (2) - Remove

    Radiator Air Upper Baffle Retainer (1) - Remove [2x]

    Radiator Air Upper Baffle (1) - Remove

    Hood Primary and Secondary Latch Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]

  10. Disconnect the electrical connector.
  11. Remove the hood primary and secondary latch (2) and position out of the way.

    Radiator Air Upper Baffle Retainer (1) - Remove [4x]

    Radiator Air Front Upper Baffle (1) - Remove

    Radiator Air Upper Baffle Retainer (1) - Remove [2x]

    Radiator Upper Bracket Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]

    Radiator Air Side Baffle Retainer (1) - Remove

    Wiring Harness Retainer (1) - Remove

  22. Radiator Upper Bracket Bolt (2) - Remove [2x]
  23. Radiator Upper Bracket- Right Side (3) - Remove

    Radiator Air Upper Baffle Retainer (1) - Remove [2x]

  25. Radiator Air Front Lower Baffle Retainer (2) - Remove [2x]

    Radiator Air Front Upper Baffle- Right Side (1) - Remove

    Intake Air Duct (1) - Remove

    Radiator Air Side Baffle Retainer (1) - Remove [2x]

    Auxiliary Radiator Outlet Hose Retainer (1) - Disengage

    Radiator Air Side Baffle - Left Side (1) - Remove

    Radiator Air Side Baffle Retainer (1) - Remove

    Charge Air Cooler Coolant Hose Retainer (1) - Disengage

  36. Charge Air Cooler Coolant Hose (2) - Remove
  37. Radiator Upper Bracket Bolt (3) - Remove

    Unfasten the engine radiator at the engine radiator detents (1).
