Removal Procedure

- Drain the cooling system. Cooling System Draining and Filling (LT4 Static Fill) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (LT4 GE 47716)
- Air Cleaner Outlet Duct - Remove - Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement
- Front Compartment Air Deflector - Remove - Front Compartment Air Deflector Replacement (AWD) , or Front Compartment Air Deflector Replacement (RWD) , or Front Compartment Air Deflector Replacement (Blackwing)
- Air Conditioning Compressor Belt - Remove - Air Conditioning Compressor Belt Replacement
Engine Oil Cooler Hose Bolt (1) - Remove
- NOTE:
Whenever the engine oil cooler lines are detached, the quick connect fitting must be replaced. Refer to Engine Oil Cooler Pipe/Hose Quick Connect Fitting Replacement (LT4) .
Engine Oil Cooler Hose Retainer (1) - Remove
- Engine Oil Cooler Hose (2) - Remove
- Lower the vehicle.
