Removal Procedure

- Drain the cooling system. Cooling System Draining and Filling (LGY Static Fill) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (LGY GE 47716)
- Fuel Injection Fuel Rail Noise Shield-Upper - Remove - Fuel Injection Fuel Rail Noise Shield Replacement (Upper) , or Fuel Injection Fuel Rail Noise Shield Replacement (Lower)
Engine Coolant Air Bleed Pipe (2) - Remove - Engine Coolant Air Bleed Pipe Replacement (LGY)
Water Outlet (2) - Remove - Water Outlet Replacement (LGY)
Engine Coolant Thermostat Housing Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]
- Engine Coolant Thermostat Housing (2) - Remove
- Engine Coolant Thermostat Housing Seal (3) - Remove and DISCARD
