Installation Procedure

Water Inlet Gasket (2) - Install NEW
- Install the engine coolant thermostat housing pipe (1) into the auxiliary water pump outlet hose and then install the engine coolant thermostat housing pipe to the engine block.
- CAUTION:
Refer to Fastener Caution .
Engine Coolant Thermostat Housing Pipe Bolt (2) - Install and tighten [3x] 8.5 N.m (75 lb in)
- Hose Clamp (1) - Engage - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type
Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor Electrical Connector (1) @Engine Coolant Thermostat Housing Inlet Pipe - Connect
Turbocharger Coolant Feed and Return Pipe (2) @Engine Coolant Thermostat Housing Inlet Pipe - Install - Turbocharger Coolant Feed and Return Pipe Replacement (LSY)
- Hose Clamp (1) - Engage - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type
Air Cleaner Outlet Duct (1) - Install - Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement
- Fill the cooling system. Cooling System Draining and Filling (LSY GE 47716) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (LSY Static Fill)
- Start the engine and check for coolant leaks.
