Installation Procedure

Turbocharger Oil Feed Pipe Gasket (2) - Install NEW
- Engine Coolant Air Bleed Pipe (1) - Install
- CAUTION:
Refer to Fastener Caution .
Engine Coolant Air Bleed Pipe Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] 8.5 N.m (75 lb in)
Catalytic Converter Heat Shield (1) - Install - Catalytic Converter Heat Shield Replacement (LSY, LGY)
Engine Coolant Air Bleed Pipe Bolt (2) - Install and tighten 8.5 N.m (75 lb in)
- Hose Clamp (1) - Engage - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type
Engine Coolant Heater Exhaust Pipe (3) - Install - Engine Coolant Heater Exhaust Pipe Replacement
Engine Coolant Air Bleed Pipe (3) @Auxiliary Water Pump Inlet Pipe - Install - Engine Coolant Air Bleed Pipe Replacement (LSY Auxiliary Water Pump Inlet Pipe to Engine Coolant Air Bleed Hose) , or Engine Coolant Air Bleed Pipe Replacement (LSY Engine Block to Engine Coolant Flow Control Valve)
- Fill the cooling system to the proper level. Cooling System Draining and Filling (LSY GE 47716) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (LSY Static Fill)
- Start the engine and check for leaks.
