Installation Procedure

    Install the charge air cooler (2) to the auxiliary radiator bracket (3).

  2. Auxiliary Radiator Bracket- Upper (1) - Install

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

    Auxiliary Radiator Bracket Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] 9 N.m (80 lb in)

  4. Auxiliary Radiator Bracket Nut (2) - Install and tighten [2x] 5.5 N.m (49 lb in)
  5. Charge Air Cooler Upper Insulator (3) - Install [2x]

    Charge Air Cooler (1) - Install

    Auxiliary Radiator Bracket Nut (1) - tighten 22 N.m (16 lb ft)

  8. Auxiliary Radiator Bracket Bolt (2) - Install and tighten [3x] 22 N.m (16 lb ft)

    Radiator Inlet Hose (2) @Charge Air Cooler- Right Side - Install - Radiator Inlet Hose Replacement (LT4 Charge Air Cooler - Left Side to Charge Air Cooler Coolant Pump) , or Radiator Inlet Hose Replacement (LT4 Charge Air Cooler - Right Side to Engine Radiator)

    Auxiliary Radiator Front Inlet Duct- Right Side (1) - Install - Auxiliary Radiator Front Inlet Duct Replacement - Right Side (LT4)

    Radiator Outlet Hose (1) @Charge Air Cooler- Right Side - Install - Radiator Outlet Hose Replacement (LT4)

    Front Bumper Fascia (1) - Install - Front Bumper Fascia Replacement (without Blackwing) , or Front Bumper Fascia Replacement (with Blackwing)

    Auxiliary Radiator Front Outlet Duct- Right Side (1) - Install - Auxiliary Radiator Front Outlet Duct Replacement - Right Side (LT4) 

  14. Install the right front tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (without J57) , or Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (with J57)
  15. Fill the cooling system to the proper level. Cooling System Draining and Filling (LT4 Static Fill) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (LT4 GE 47716) 
  16. Start the engine and check for coolant leaks.
