Installation Procedure

Rear Suspension Upper Trailing Link (1) - Install

CAUTION:
This vehicle is equipped with torque-to-yield or single use fasteners. Install a NEW torque-to-yield or single use fastener when installing this component. Failure to replace the torque-to-yield or single use fastener could cause damage to the vehicle or component.

Rear Suspension Trailing Arm Bracket Bolt (2) - Install NEW
Rear Suspension Trailing Arm Bracket Nut (1) - Install, but do NOT tighten

Rear Suspension Trailing Arm Bolt (3) - Install NEW
Rear Suspension Trailing Arm Nut (1) - Install, but do NOT tighten

CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .

Rear Suspension Trailing Arm Bolt (3) - Tighten
1. First Pass: 100 N.m (74 lb ft)
2. Final Pass: 90 - 105 degrees

Rear Suspension Trailing Arm Bracket Nut (1) - Tighten
1. First Pass: 70 N.m (52 lb ft)
2. Final Pass: 90 - 100 degrees

Chassis Rear Wiring Harness Clip (1) - Install

If equipped, install the 3 electronic suspension rear vertical accelerometer retainers (1). Electronic Suspension Rear Vertical Accelerometer Replacement (FE3)
Install the rear tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (without J57) , or Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (with J57)
Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
