Installation Procedure

    Rear Suspension Lower Trailing Link (1) - Install

    CAUTION:

    This vehicle is equipped with torque-to-yield or single use fasteners. Install a NEW torque-to-yield or single use fastener when installing this component. Failure to replace the torque-to-yield or single use fastener could cause damage to the vehicle or component.

    Rear Suspension Trailing Arm Bracket Bolt (1) - Install NEW

  3. Rear Suspension Trailing Arm Bracket Nut (2) - Install, but do NOT tighten

    Rear Suspension Trailing Arm Bolt (3) - Install NEW

  5. Rear Suspension Trailing Arm Nut (1) - Install, but do NOT tighten
  6. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  7. Rear Suspension Trailing Arm Bolt (3) - Tighten
    1. First Pass: 100 N.m (74 lb ft)
    2. Final Pass: 90 - 105 degrees

    Rear Suspension Trailing Arm Bracket Nut (1) - Tighten

    1. First Pass: 70 N.m (52 lb ft)
    2. Final Pass: 90 - 100 degrees

    {If equipped}Rear Brake Rotor Cooling Duct Deflector (2) - Install

  10. {If equipped}Rear Brake Rotor Cooling Duct Deflector Bolt (3) - Install [3x]
  11. {If equipped} Install the 3 rear brake caliper cooling air scoop retainers (1).
  12. {If equipped}Rear Brake Rotor Cooling Duct Deflector Bolt (3) - Tighten [3x] - Rear Brake Rotor Cooling Duct Deflector Replacement (J6H)
  13. Install the rear tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (without J57) , or Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (with J57)
  14. Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
