Removal Procedure

Front Wheelhouse Liner (3) - Remove - Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement , or Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement (Blackwing)

Front Compartment Air Deflector (1) - Remove - Front Compartment Air Deflector Replacement (AWD) , or Front Compartment Air Deflector Replacement (RWD) , or Front Compartment Air Deflector Replacement (Blackwing)
If equipped, unclip the electronic suspension wheel front vertical accelerometer retainers from the front lower control front link. Electronic Suspension Wheel Front Vertical Accelerometer Replacement (FE2, FE3) , or Electronic Suspension Wheel Front Vertical Accelerometer Replacement (FE4)

NOTE:
Do NOT allow the ball stud to rotate while loosening the nut.

Front Lower Control Arm Ball Stud Nut (1) - Loosen

Using the CH-43631 Ball Joint Separator (1), separate the front lower control front link from the steering knuckle.

Front Lower Control Arm Ball Stud Nut (1) - Remove

{with LGY} Reposition the engine auxiliary radiator assembly.
1. Charge Air Cooler Upper Bracket Nut (1) - Remove
2. Charge Air Cooler Bracket Bolt (2) - Remove

{with LGY} Reposition the engine auxiliary radiator assembly.
1. Charge Air Cooler Bracket Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]
2. Reposition the charge air cooler assembly to gain access to the front lower control arm bolt.

Front Lower Control Arm Front Nut (1) - Remove
Front Lower Control Arm Front Bolt (2) - Remove and DISCARD
