Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
  2. Remove the left front tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (without J57) , or Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (with J57)
  3. Engine Front Splash Shield - Remove - Engine Front Splash Shield Replacement (AWD) , or Engine Front Splash Shield Replacement (RWD)

    Retainer (2) - Disengage [5x]

  5. Front Disc Brake Pad Wear Sensor (1) @Retainer (2) - Remove

    Reposition the wheelhouse liner as necessary.

  7. Disconnect the electrical connector. (2)
  8. Electrical Connector (2) @Retainer (1) - Remove

    Front Disc Brake Pad Wear Sensor (1) - Remove
