Installation Procedure

    Front Brake Caliper (1) - Install

    CAUTION:

    Fastener Caution

    Front Brake Caliper Guide Pin Bolt (1) @Front Brake Caliper - Install and tighten [2x] 40 N.m (30 lb ft)

  4. Front Brake Hose (2) @Front Brake Caliper - Install - Front Brake Hose Replacement (JL9)
  5. {If equipped} Front Disc Brake Pad Wear Sensor - Install - Front Disc Brake Pad Wear Sensor Replacement (J57, J6H) 
  6. Connect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
  7. Bleed the brake system. Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (J57, J6H, JL9)
  8. Check for brake system leaks.
  9. Install the front tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (without J57)
  10. Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
