1	Differential Carrier Fill Plug CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Procedure Clean any dirt from around the differential fill plug. Remove the fill plug (1) from the differential. Check the differential fluid level. it should be even with the bottom of the fill plug hole to no lower than 2 mm (0.08 in) below the opening. Add new fluid if necessary. Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers Install the fill plug (1) to the differential. Lower the vehicle. Tighten 50 N.m (37 lb ft)

Procedure

Clean any dirt from around the differential fill plug.
Remove the fill plug (1) from the differential.
Check the differential fluid level. it should be even with the bottom of the fill plug hole to no lower than 2 mm (0.08 in) below the opening.
Add new fluid if necessary. Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers
Install the fill plug (1) to the differential.
Lower the vehicle.

Tighten
50 N.m (37 lb ft)
