Removal Procedure

- Drain the cooling system. Cooling System Draining and Filling (LT4 Static Fill) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (LT4 GE 47716)
Radiator Surge Tank (2) - Remove - Radiator Surge Tank Replacement (LT4)
Retainer (3) - Disengage [2x]
- Heater Inlet and Outlet Hose (2) @ Heater Core - Remove
- Heater Inlet and Outlet Hose Nut (1) - Remove
Heater Inlet Hose Clamp (2) - Disengage [2x] - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type
- Heater Inlet and Outlet Hose (1) @ Engine Coolant Manifold - Remove
- Heater Inlet and Outlet Hose (1) - Remove
