Installation Procedure
- Install the air conditioning refrigerant heat exchanger in to the engine compartment.
Air Conditioning Sealing Washer (2) - Install NEW - Air Conditioning System Seal Replacement
- Air Conditioning Refrigerant Heat Exchanger (1) @ Air Conditioning Condenser - Install
Air Conditioning Evaporative Connector Hose/Tube and Compressor Hose (1) @ Air Conditioning Condenser - Install - Air Conditioning Evaporative Connector Hose/Tube and Compressor Hose Replacement (LSY)
- CAUTION:
Refer to Fastener Caution .
Air Conditioning Evaporator Tube Clip Bracket Bolt (4) - Install and tighten to 9 N.m (80 lb in)
- Air Conditioning Evaporative Connector Hose/Tube and Compressor Hose (2) @ Air Conditioning Refrigerant Heat Exchanger - Install - Air Conditioning Evaporative Connector Hose/Tube and Compressor Hose Replacement (LSY)
Air Conditioning System Sealing Washer (2) - Install NEW [2x]
- Air Conditioning Refrigerant Heat Exchanger (1) @ Air Conditioning Evaporator Thermal Expansion Valve - Install
Air Conditioning Evaporator Thermal Expansion Valve Hose Nut (1) @ Air Conditioning Evaporator Thermal Expansion Valve - Install and tighten to 22 N.m (16 lb ft)
- Intake Manifold Cover - Install - Intake Manifold Cover Replacement
Front End Sheet Metal Cross Brace - Left Side (3) - Install - Front End Sheet Metal Cross Brace Replacement (Impact Bar Bracket) , or Front End Sheet Metal Cross Brace Replacement (Plenum without Blackwing)
Air Conditioning Refrigerant Heat Exchanger (2) - Install
- Air Conditioning Evaporator Hose Clip Nut (1) - Install and tighten [2x] 9 N.m (80 lb in)
Fasten the auxiliary generator battery jumper cable (2) onto the lower air conditioning refrigerant heat exchanger bracket stud.
- Fasten the engine harness (1) onto the air conditioning refrigerant heat exchanger bracket.
- Recharge the refrigerant. Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging
- Inspect for refrigerant leaks.
- Clear the DTCs.
