Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
  2. Recover the refrigerant. Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging

    Air Cleaner Assembly (1) - Remove - Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement

    Air Conditioning Condenser Hose Nut (1) - Remove

  5. Air Conditioning Compressor Hose (2) - Remove
  6. Air Conditioning Compressor Hose Seal (3) - Remove and DISCARD

    Air Conditioning Refrigerant Heat Exchanger (1) - Remove

  8. Air Conditioning Condenser Hose Seal (2) - Remove and DISCARD

    Charge Air Bypass Valve Hose Clamp (1) - Disengage - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type

  10. Charge Air Bypass Valve Hose (2) - Remove
  11. Positive Crankcase Ventilation Tube (3) - Disconnect - Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service
  12. Retaining Clip (4) - Disengage

    Positive Crankcase Ventilation Tube (1) - Disconnect - Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service

  14. Air Cleaner Outlet Resonator-Left Side (2) - Remove

    Air Conditioning Compressor Hose Bolt (1) - Remove

    Air Conditioning Evaporator Hose (1) - Remove

  17. Air Conditioning Compressor Hose Seal (2) - Remove and DISCARD

    Remove wire harness retainer from top of stud.

  19. Air Conditioning Compressor and Condenser Hose Nut (1) - Remove
  20. Disconnect electrical connector at air conditioning refrigerant pressure sensor.
  21. Maneuver the air conditioning compressor hose (2) out of the engine compartment.

    Air Conditioning Compressor Hose Seal (1) - Remove and DISCARD
