Removal Procedure

- Disconnect the negative battery cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
- Recover the refrigerant. Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging
- Air Conditioning Compressor - Remove - Air Conditioning Compressor Replacement (LGY)
Air Conditioning Compressor Clutch Pulley Bolt (1) - Remove
- Air Conditioning Compressor Clutch Drive Plate (2) - Remove
- NOTE:
The air conditioning clutch shim count will vary for each air conditioning compressor. Be sure to verify the number of shims once the clutch is removed.
Air Conditioning Clutch Shim(s) (1) - Remove
- Air Conditioning Compressor Pulley Bearing Retaining Ring (2) - Remove
Air Conditioning Compressor Clutch Pulley (1) - Remove
Air Conditioning Clutch Coil Retaining Ring (1) - Remove
- Air Conditioning Compressor Clutch Coil (2) - Remove
