Installation Procedure

- NOTE:
Use the original shim count as a starting point to determine the proper air gap for the air conditioning clutch plate.
Install the air conditioning clutch shim(s) (3) as needed to achieve the appropriate air gap of 0.21 - 0.55 mm (0.008 - 0.021 in).
- Air Conditioning Compressor Clutch Drive Plate (2) - Install
- Air Conditioning Compressor Clutch Pulley Bolt (1) - Install and tighten - Air Conditioning Clutch Replacement (LT4)
- NOTE:
Some components not shown for graphic clarity.
Measure the air gap between air conditioning clutch drive plate (1) and the air conditioning compressor pulley (3) using the appropriate feeler gauge (4).
- If the air gap is out of range, remove air conditioning clutch drive plate (1) and repeat steps 1, 2, 3 and 4 as necessary to adjust the air gap.
- Accessory Drive Auxiliary Belt (3) - Install - Drive Belt Replacement - Accessory
Supercharger Belt Tensioner Bracket (3) - Install - Supercharger Belt Tensioner Bracket Replacement
