Removal Procedure

- Place the transmission in neutral.
Mark (2) the relationship of the propeller shaft flange (3) and the output flange (1) of the transmission.

Install the DT-45012 Holding Fixture (4) to the propeller shaft transmission yoke (3).
- While holding the DT-45012 Holding Fixture (4), remove the propeller shaft transmission yoke nut (1) with appropriate socket.
- Remove the DT-45012 Holding Fixture (4).
- Remove the propeller shaft transmission yoke washer (2).
Using the DT-45019 Flange And Pinion Gauge Remover (2), remove the propeller shaft transmission yoke (1).
Use the GE-6125-1B Slide Hammer with Adaptor and J-23129 Universal Seal Remover to remove and DISCARD the main shaft rear seal (1).
