NOTE:
Do not replace tapered bearings unless inspection shows bearing damage.
Using the DT-22912-B Rear Pinion and Axle Bearing Remover/Split Plate (1) with the J-39473 Mainshaft Bearing Installer (2) and a hydraulic press, remove and DISCARD the counter gear front bearing (3).
Using the DT-22912-B Rear Pinion and Axle Bearing Remover/Split Plate (2), and the J-39547 Press Adapter (1) and a hydraulic press, remove and DISCARD the counter gear center bearing (3).
