Removal Procedure

  1. Disable the SIR system. SIR Disabling and Enabling

    Fold the assist handle downward and hold. (2)

  3. Use a small flat-bladed tool to open the assist handle covers to access the bolts.
  4. Roof Rail Rear Assist Handle Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]
  5. Roof Rail Rear Assist Handle (2) - Remove

    Center Pillar Upper Trim Panel Bolt Cap (1) - Remove

  7. Center Pillar Upper Garnish Molding Bolt (2) - Remove

    Pull the trim pane (1) toward the inside of the vehicle to disengage the retainers.

  9. Center Pillar Upper Trim Panel (1) - Reposition

    Fold the rear seat back to the downward position.

  11. Quarter Window Trim Finish Panel Bolt Cap (1) - Remove
  12. Quarter Window Trim Finish Panel Bolt (2) - Remove

    Disengage the retainers, starting at the front and working rearward.

  14. NOTE:

    The Quarter Upper Trim Panel does not need to be fully removed from the vehicle.

  15. Quarter Upper Trim Panel (1) - Reposition

    Lower the left rear section of the headlining trim panel (1).

    Disconnect the electrical connectors.

  18. NOTE:

    Observe the mounting and location of the sunroof wiring harness to ensure proper reinstallation.

  19. Release the sunroof wiring harness retainer (1).
  20. Release the sunroof wiring harness (2).

    Route the sunroof wiring harness (1) through the access hole.

  22. Sunroof Wiring Harness (1) - Remove
