Removal Procedure

    NOTE:

    Left side shown, right side similar.

    Using the appropriate trim tool, remove the 2 left side and right side windshield wiper arm finish caps (1) from the windshield wiper arm (3).

  2. Windshield Wiper Arm Nut- Left Side and Right Side (2) - Remove [2x]
  3. Grasp the outer end of the windshield wiper arm (3) and gently rock the arm back and forth to remove it from the windshield wiper transmission pivot shaft.
  4. Windshield Wiper Arm- Left Side and Right Side (3) - Remove [2x]

    Apply two layers of masking tape around the top edge of the left side and right side service part to prevent paint damage.

  6. Using a suitable plastic trim tool, carefully release the left side and right side air inlet grille panel extension clips.
  7. Remove the 2 left side and right side air inlet grille panel extension (1) from the air inlet grille panel and upper front fender.
  8. Air Inlet Grille Panel Extension- Left Side and Right Side (1) - Remove [2x]

    Front Compartment Side Sight Shield Retainer- Left Side and Right Side (1) - Remove [6x]

  10. Front Compartment Side Sight Shield- Left Side and Right Side (2) - Remove [2x]

    Remove the 4 hood rear outer air inlet seal retainer (1) from the left and right side.

  12. Remove the 2 hood rear outer air inlet seal (2) from the left and right side.

    Air Inlet Grille Panel Retainer- Left Side and Right Side (1) - Remove [4x]

  14. Air Inlet Grille Panel Extension- Left Side and Right Side (2) - Remove [2x]

    Air Inlet Grille Panel Retainer (1) - Remove [6x]

  16. Air Inlet Grille Panel (2) - Remove
  17. Disconnect the windshield washer nozzle hose from the windshield washer pump hose.
  18. Lift the front edge of the air inlet grille panel (2) and slide the panel forward from both hood hinges to remove.

    Windshield Wiper System Module Shield (1) - Remove

    Disconnect the windshield wiper motor electrical connector.

  21. Windshield Wiper System Module Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]
  22. Slide the windshield wiper system module (2) inboard to release the grommet from the plenum and remove the windshield wiper system module (2) from the vehicle.

    Air Inlet Deflector Water Deflector Retainer (1) - Remove [2x]

    Air Inlet Deflector Water Deflector (1) - Remove

    Plenum Front Panel Nut (1) - Remove [3x]

  26. Plenum Front Panel Bolt (2) - Remove [3x]
  27. Disconnect the electrical connector.
  28. Pull the forward lamp wiring harness (3) out from the plenum front panel.

    Plenum Front Panel Bolt (1) - Remove [4x]

    Plenum Front Panel (1) - Remove

    Install a cap or plug to the exposed hose and clutch master cylinder fittings in order to prevent fluid loss and contamination.

  33. Remove the clutch master cylinder pipe retaining clip (3) from the clutch master cylinder pipe adapter.
  34. Using a suitable tool, remove the clutch master cylinder pipe (2) from the dampener (1).

    Remove the clutch master cylinder pipe retaining clip (1) from the clutch master cylinder.

  36. Remove the clutch master cylinder pipe adapter (3) from the clutch master cylinder pipe bracket bracket (2).
  37. Remove clutch master cylinder pipe bracket (2).

    Remove the clutch master cylinder pipe retaining clip (1) from the clutch master cylinder.

  39. Remove the clutch master cylinder pipe adapter (2) from the clutch actuator cylinder pipe.
