Circuit/System Verification
WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
- Ignition - On / Vehicle - In Service Mode
- Verify DTC P0651 is not set.
- If the DTC is set
Refer to DTC P0641, P0651, P0697, or P06A3
- Go to next step: If the DTC is not set
- If the DTC is set
- Engine - Idling
- Verify DTC P30BE, P30BF, P30C2, P30C3, P30C6, P30C7, P30CA, P30CB is not set.
- If any of the DTCs are set
Refer to: Circuit/System Testing
- Go to next step: If none of the DTCs are set
- If any of the DTCs are set
- Perform the following action:
- Wiggle the harness and connector: B338 Intake Camshaft Profile Sleeve Position Sensor
- Wiggle the harness and connector: B339 Exhaust Camshaft Profile Sleeve Position Sensor
- Wiggle the harness and connector: K20 Engine Control Module
Verify the DTC does not set.
- If the DTC sets
Repair as necessary - Wiring / Terminal(s) / Electrical Connector(s)
- Go to next step: If the DTC does not set
- Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
Verify the DTC does not set.
- If the DTC sets
Refer to: Circuit/System Testing
- Go to next step: If the DTC is not set
- If the DTC sets
- All OK.
