Circuit/System Description

Circuit Description
Control The output circuit is switched to 12 V to activate the component.
Low Reference Grounded through the control module.
Component Description
A7 Fuel Tank Fuel Pump Module The control module K111 supplies the fuel pump with a PWM signal in order to achieve the desired fuel line pressure.
K111 Fuel Pump Power Control Module The control module K111 monitors the fuel system for any condition which may adversely affect emissions. If a condition is detected it sets a DTC and sends a serial data message to the engine control module which then sets DTC P069E.

When the ignition is turned On, the ECM sends a 12 V signal to the control module K111 to enable the fuel pump. If the engine is not started, the control module K111 turns the fuel pump Off after 6 s.
