Removal Procedure

    Windshield Wiper Arm- Left Side and Right Side (3) - Remove [2x]

    1. Using the appropriate trim tool, remove the 2 left side and right side windshield wiper arm finish caps (1) from the windshield wiper arm (3).
    2. Windshield Wiper Arm Nut- Left Side and Right Side (2) - Remove [2x]
    3. Grasp the outer end of the windshield wiper arm (3) and gently rock the arm back and forth to remove it from the windshield wiper transmission pivot shaft.

    Air Inlet Grille Panel Extension- Left Side and Right Side (1) - Remove [2x]

    1. Apply two layers of masking tape around the top edge of the left side and right side service part to prevent paint damage.
    2. Using a suitable plastic trim tool, carefully release the left side and right side air inlet grille panel extension clips.
    3. Remove the 2 left side and right side air inlet grille panel extension (1) from the air inlet grille panel and upper front fender.

    Hood Rear Outer Air Inlet Seal- Left Side and Right Side (2) - Remove [2x]

    1. Hood Rear Outer Air Inlet Seal Retainer - Left Side and Right Side (1) - Remove [4x]
    2. Hood Rear Outer Air Inlet Seal - Left Side and Right Side (2) - Remove [2x]

    Front Compartment Side Sight Shield Retainer- Left Side and Right Side (1) - Remove [6x]

  5. Front Compartment Side Sight Shield- Left Side and Right Side (2) - Remove [2x]

    Air Inlet Grille Panel Retainer- Left Side and Right Side- Left Side and Right Side (1) - Remove [4x]

  7. Air Inlet Grille Panel Extension- Outer (2) - Remove [2x]

    Air Inlet Grille Panel Retainer (1) - Remove [6x]

  9. Disconnect the windshield washer nozzle hose from the windshield washer pump hose.
  10. Lift the front edge of the air inlet grille panel (2) and slide the panel forward from both hood hinges to remove.

    Hood Primary and Secondary Latch Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]

  12. Hood Primary and Secondary Latch (2) - Remove
  13. Disconnect the hood primary latch release cable (3) from the hood primary latch.

    Disconnect the hood primary latch release cable end retainer from the inside handle (1).

    Disconnect the hood primary latch release cable grommet (1) from the dash panel.

  16. Attach mechanics wire to the hood primary latch release cable (2) and pull the cable out.
  17. Remove the mechanics wire from the hood Primary latch release cable.
