Removal Procedure

    Rear Suspension Cradle (1) - Remove - Rear Suspension Cradle Removal and Installation (Blackwing MHU) , or Rear Suspension Cradle Removal and Installation (Blackwing MG9) , or Rear Suspension Cradle Removal and Installation (LSY F46) , or Rear Suspension Cradle Removal and Installation (L3B RWL) , or Rear Suspension Cradle Removal and Installation (L3B F46) , or Rear Suspension Cradle Removal and Installation (LSY RWL)

    Rear Stabilizer Shaft Clamp Stud (1) - Remove

  3. Rear Stabilizer Shaft Clamp Bolt (2) - Remove [3x]
  4. Rear Stabilizer Shaft Clamp (3) - Remove [2x]
  5. Rear Stabilizer Shaft Link Bolt (4) - Remove [2x]

    Remove the rear stabilizer shaft (1) with the rear stabilizer shaft links attached.

    Rear Suspension Link Inner Nut- Left Side and Right Side (1) - Remove [2x]

  8. Rear Suspension Adjust Link Washer- Left Side and Right Side (2) - Remove [2x]
  9. Rear Suspension Adjust Link Bolt- Left Side and Right Side (3) - Remove and DISCARD [2x]
  10. Rear Suspension Adjust Link- Left Side and Right Side (4) - Position aside [2x]

    NOTE:

    Left side shown, right side similar.

    Rear Suspension Trailing Arm Nut- Left Side and Right Side (1) - Remove [2x]

  12. Rear Suspension Trailing Arm Bolt- Left Side and Right Side (2) - Remove and DISCARD [2x]
  13. Rear Suspension Lower Trailing Link- Left Side and Right Side (3) - Position aside [2x]

    NOTE:

    Rear Suspension Upper Trailing Link Inner Nut- Left Side and Right Side (2) - Remove [2x]

  15. Rear Suspension Trailing Arm Bracket Bolt- Left Side and Right Side (1) - Remove and DISCARD [2x]
  16. Rear Suspension Upper Trailing Link- Left Side and Right Side (3) - Position aside [2x]

    NOTE:

    Rear Suspension Upper Control Arm Inner Nut- Left Side and Right Side (2) - Remove [2x]

  18. Rear Suspension Upper Control Arm Inner Bolt- Left Side and Right Side (1) - Remove and DISCARD [2x]
  19. Rear Suspension Upper Control Arm- Left Side and Right Side (3) - Position aside [2x]

    NOTE:
    • Left side shown, right side similar.
    • The rear wheel drive shaft universal joint retainer (1) and washers (2) are serviced as a rear wheel drive shaft universal joint retainer kit consisting of 2 bolts and 1 washer.

    Remove and DISCARD the 12 left and right side rear wheel drive shaft universal joint retainers (1).

  21. Remove and DISCARD the 6 left and right side wheel drive shaft washers (2).

    NOTE:

    Left side shown, right side similar.

    Remove the following components on the left and right sides as assemblies (1).

    • Rear Suspension Knuckle
    • Rear Suspension Upper Trailing Link
    • Rear Suspension Lower Trailing Link
    • Rear Suspension Upper Control Arm
    • Rear Suspension Adjust Link
    • Rear Brake Rotor
    • Rear Wheel Drive Shaft

    Remove the differential carrier rear bolt (1) and DISCARD.

    Remove the two differential carrier front bolts (1) and nuts (2).

    Remove the differential carrier assembly (1) from the rear suspension cradle (2).
