Removal Procedure

- Disconnect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
Fuse Block Cover(1) - Remove
- Auxiliary Generator Battery Jumper Cable Nut(2) - Remove
- Battery Positive Cable Nut(3) - Remove
- Battery Negative Cable Ground Bolt(4) - Remove
- Retainer(5) - Disengage[3x]
- Auxiliary Generator Battery Jumper Cable(6) - Reposition away
Retainer(1) - Disengage
- Drain the cooling system. Radiator Inlet Hose Clamp(1) - Disengage - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type
- Radiator Inlet Hose Clip(2)@Radiator Inlet Hose Bracket - Remove
- Radiator Inlet Hose(3)@Radiator - Remove
Radiator Inlet Hose Clamp(1) - Disengage - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type
- Radiator Inlet Hose(2)@Engine Coolant Flow Control Valve - Remove
- Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
Battery Positive Cable Nut(2)@Generator - Remove
- Auxiliary Generator Battery Jumper Cable(1) - Remove
Retainer(1) - Disengage[4x]
Electrical Connector(1) - Disconnect
- Battery Positive Cable Nut(2)@Starter Solenoid - Remove
- Auxiliary Generator Battery Jumper Cable(3) - Remove
Auxiliary Generator Battery Jumper Cable Terminal Nut (2)@Starter Stud - Remove
- Auxiliary Generator Battery Jumper Cable(1) - Remove
- Lower the vehicle.
