Installation Procedure

Turbocharger Oil Return Pipe Seal (3) - Install NEW
- Turbocharger Oil Feed Pipe Gasket (1, 4) - Install NEW [2x]
- Turbocharger Oil Feed Pipe (2) - Install
Turbocharger Oil Feed Pipe Bolt (1, 2, 3) - Install and hand tighten [5x]
- Turbocharger Oil Feed Pipe Bolt (1, 2, 3) - Tighten [5x] - Fastener Specifications
Charge Air Cooler Inlet Air Tube (2) @ Turbocharger (3) - Reposition
- Retainer Spring (1) - Install
Turbocharger Heat Shield (1) - Install
Turbocharger Heat Shield Bolt (1) - Install [3x] - Fastener Specifications
Install the air cleaner (1) and air cleaner outlet duct (2) as an assembly.
Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Clamp (2) - Tighten - Fastener Specifications
- Air Cleaner Bolt (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
Electrical Connector (4) - Connect [2x]
- Evaporative Emission Canister Purge Tube (3) - Connect - Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service
- Positive Crankcase Ventilation Tube (2) - Connect - Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service
- Wiring Harness Retainer (1) @ Air Cleaner Assembly - Install [4x]
- Fill the engine oil to the proper level with NEW engine oil. Engine Oil and Oil Filter Replacement (RWD) , or Engine Oil and Oil Filter Replacement (AWD)
- Connect the battery. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
- Perform the engine oil life reset. GM Oil Life System Resetting (With Scan Tool) , or GM Oil Life System Resetting (Without Scan Tool)
