Terminal Removal Procedure

  1. Remove any Tape or wire ties from the wire harness back far enough to allow the terminal to be removed from the connector as needed.

    Insert a small flat bladed tool between the connector and TPA, use the connector body as leverage and rotate the tool to release the TPA.

    Fully remove the TPA from the connector body

    Using the front of the connector identify female terminal (1), flex lock (2), and removal window (3).

    Insert the terminal removal tool J-38125-12A into the terminal cavity (1), deflect the terminal lock (2), while the terminal lock deflected, gently pull on the wire to remove the terminal from the connector (3).
