Terminal Removal Procedure

1.5 Terminals
Release the TPA by using a small flat bladed screw driver to release the TPA.
Gently insert the terminal removal tool J-38125-217 into the terminal service hole of the terminal being serviced.
- Push straight down into the hole to release the terminal locking tab. Prying or "picking" is not required.
- Once the locking tab is released, gently pull on the wire to remove the terminal from the connector.
2.8 Terminals
Release the TPA by using a small flat bladed screw driver to release the TPA.
Gently insert the terminal removal tool J-38125-12A into the terminal service hole of the terminal being serviced
- Push straight down into the hole to release the terminal locking tab. Prying or "picking" is not required.
- Once the locking tab is released, gently pull on the wire to remove the terminal from the connector.
