Terminal Removal Procedure

1.2 Terminals

    Remove the connector lever by using a small screwdriver to gently pry the lever sides over its locking point one side at a time. With both lever sides disengaged, it can be pulled up and away from the connector.

    Slide removal tool J-38125-11A under the slots of the TPA (1) and gently pry outwards (2) to move it to the released position.

    Insert removal tool J-38125-215A into the access hole.

    Gently pry the locking tab (1) while carefully pulling on the wire (2) to fully remove the terminal from the connector.

1.5 Terminals

    Remove the connector lever by using a small screwdriver to gently pry the lever sides over its locking point one side at a time. With both lever sides disengaged, it can be pulled up and away from the connector.

    Disengage the TPA by using a small screwdriver to gently pry the side up and away from the connector one side at a time.

    Gently pry on each side of the connector TPA until it is fully released on both sides as shown in the figure above.

    Insert removal tool J-38125-215A into the access hole for the terminal. Gently pry the locking tab while carefully pulling on the wire to fully remove the terminal from the connector.

2.8 Terminals

    Remove the connector lever by using a small screwdriver to gently pry the lever sides over its locking point one side at a time. With both lever sides disengaged, it can be pulled up and away from the connector.

    Disengage the TPA by using a small screwdriver to gently pry the TPA up. and away from the connector one side at a time until the TPA is fully released.

    Gently pry on each side of the connector TPA until it is fully released on both sides as shown in the figure above.

    Insert removal tool J-38125-215A into the access hole for the terminal. Gently pry the locking tab while carefully pulling on the wire to fully remove the terminal from the connector
