Terminal Removal Procedure

1.2 Terminals 

  1. Remove any tape or wire ties from the wire cover.

    Remove the wire cover by inserting a small screwdriver into the slot at the front of the connector and push the lock in while pulling up on the cover.

    Slide the cover in an upward motion to fully remove it from the connector.

    Insert a small screwdriver into the slot at the front of the connector and push on the TPA until a click is heard or felt to move it to the released position.

    Insert the terminal removal tool J-38125-215A straight into the terminal cavity to deflect the terminal locking arm. With the locking arm deflected, gently pull on the wire to remove it from the connector.

2.8 Terminals 

  1. Remove any tape or wire ties from the wire cover.

    Remove the wire cover by inserting a small screwdriver into the slot at the front of the connector and push the lock in while pulling up on the cover.

    Slide the cover in an upward motion to fully remove it from the connector.

    Insert a small screwdriver into the slot at the front of the connector and push on the TPA until a click is heard or felt to move it to the released position.

    Insert the terminal removal tool J-38125-557 straight into the terminal cavity to deflect terminal locking arms. With the locking arms deflected, gently pull on the wire to remove it from the connector.

4.8 Terminals 

  1. Remove any tape or wire ties from the wire cover.

    Remove the wire cover by inserting a small screwdriver into the slot at the front of the connector and push the lock in while pulling up on the cover.
