Connector Removal Procedure

If Equipped Slide the Connector Position Assurance (CPA) away from the mating component until it is fully released.
- Once the CPA is released press the connector lock to release the connector and pull it away from the mating component.
- Use the images and steps below for the connector design on the vehicle.
Push the connector together to relieve pressure on the locking tab, press and hold the locking tab.
While continuing to hold the release tab, pull the connector apart to remove it from the mating component.
If equipped with the cam lever style connector, press the locking tab, lift and rotate the lever to release the connector.
Once released pull the connector away from the mating component.
