Circuit/System Verification

Ignition ON.
Verify all left and right turn signal lamps turn ON and OFF while commanding the left and right turn signals ON and OFF with the S78 Turn Signal Switch.
- If one or more turn signal lamps do not turn ON and OFF
  Refer to Turn Signal Lamps and/or Indicators Malfunction .
- Go to next step: If all turn signal lamps turn ON and OFF
Verify the hazard switch backlighting changes from bright to dim while commanding the backlight dimming from bright to dim with the S36 Dimmer Switch.
- If the hazard warning switch backlighting does not change
  Refer to Interior Backlighting Malfunction .
- Go to next step: If the hazard warning switch backlighting changes
Verify the hazard switch indicator LED turns ON and OFF while commanding the hazard lamps ON and OFF with the S36 Hazard Warning Switch.
- If the hazard warning switch LED indicator does not turn ON and OFF
  Refer to Interior Backlighting Malfunction .
- Go to next step: If the hazard warning switch LED indicator turns ON and OFF
Verify the turn signals activate when commanding the hazard lamps ON with the S26 Hazard Warning Switch.
- If the turn signals do not activate
  Refer to Circuit/System Testing.
- Go to next step: If the turn signals activate
All OK.
