Circuit/System Verification

  1. Ignition ON.
  2. Verify there are no related DTCs set.
    • Go to next step: If no related DTCs are set 
  3. Verify the left/right backup lamps turn on and off when commanding the Left/Right Backup Lamps on and off with a scan tool
    • If the backup lamps do not turn ON and OFF 

      Refer to Circuit/System Testing

    • Go to next step: If the backup lamps turn on and off 
  4. A fault is not currently present and may be an intermittent condition.
