Circuit/System Verification

    NOTE:

    This DTC may be set due to the connection of an incompatible or faulty USB device. Verify proper USB harness connections are secure and that customer is using a known good SD card prior to proceeding with the verification.

  1. Ignition ON.
  2. Verify DTC B1ABE or B1AC0 are not set.
    • If the DTC is set 

      Clear DTC and attempt to reprogram the K161 Performance Data Recorder with the latest software via Service Programming System (SPS).

    1. Verify programming event was successful and DTC B1ABE or B1AC0 do not reset
      • If the programming was not successful or DTC is set 

        Refer to Circuit/System Testing.

      • Go to next step: If the programming was successful and DTC did not set 

        Go to next step: All OK.

    • Go to next step: If neither DTC is set 
  3. All OK.
