Circuit/System Testing

  1. Verify the LVDS video cable is properly connected at the K161 Vehicle Performance Data Recorder harness connector X2, A22 Radio Control harness connector X2, and in-line connections; and there is no damage to the cable or connections.
    • If connection problems or cable damage is noted 

      Perform the appropriate repair or replacement to correct any issues

    • Go to next step: If no connection problems or cable damage is noted 
  2. Replace the LVDS cable between the K161 Vehicle Performance Data Recorder harness connector X2, A22 Radio Control harness connector X2.
  3. Verify the DTC does not reset.
    • If DTC is set 
    1. Replace the A22 Radio Controls.
    2. Verify the DTC does not reset.
      • If DTC is set 

        Replace the K161 Vehicle Performance Data Recorder.

      • Go to next step: If DTC is not set 

        Go to next step: All OK

    • Go to next step: If DTC is not set 
  4. All OK
