Circuit/System Verification

- Ignition ON.
- Verify there are no DTCs set.
- If any DTCs are set
- Go to next step: If no DTCs are set
- Verify the scan tool Windshield Washer Switch parameter changes between Active and Inactive when pressing the Windshield Washer Switch.
- If the parameter does not change
Refer to Circuit/System Testing - Windshield Wiper and Washer Switch Malfunction.
- Go to next step: If the parameter changes
- If the parameter does not change
- Verify the G24 Windshield Washer Pump activates and deactivates when commanding the Windshield Washer Relay Active and Inactive with a scan tool.
- If the G24 Windshield Washer Pump does not activate or does not deactivate

- Go to next step: If the G24 Windshield Washer Pump activates and deactivates
- If the G24 Windshield Washer Pump does not activate or does not deactivate
- A fault is not currently present and may be an intermittent condition.
