Lower the rear seat back forward to gain space between the rear seat head restraint (1) and the roof.
- Depress the large button on the head restraint guide and raise the head restraint (1) to the full up position.
- Using an appropriate tool, insert into the small hole on the second rear seat head restraint guide to release the rear seat head restraint.
- Pull upward on the rear seat head restraint to remove from the rear seat.
Using a suitable flat-bladed tool, slide the tool on the outside of the rear seat head restraint guide (1) until it finds the slot. Then push the plastic slot inward and pull upward to remove the guide from the seat back frame.
